Clindata Gains Efficiency for Animal Health with Medrio EDC

Clindata, a South Africa–based CRO focused on Animal Health, faced labor‑intensive, error‑prone paper workflows that required manual tracking, double data entry, and frequent quality checks. To address this, Clindata has used Medrio EDC since 2013 and joined the Medrio Partner Alliance Program, enabling them to offer electronic data capture to sponsors regardless of budget and to leverage a growing Animal Health form library.

Medrio implemented a concurrent‑license EDC solution with features like multiple‑subject data entry, audit trails, automatic edit/query checks, and easily copied databases. As a result, Clindata moved 21 studies from paper to EDC, achieved an average of five days from final protocol to first data, gained real‑time monitoring and cleaner data, reduced manual review and edit checks, and is expanding EDC use with 19 studies in progress using Medrio.
