Ancillarie, a clinical support services company, partnered with Medrio to implement an Electronic Data Capture (EDC) system for a series of dermatology trials. Faced with tight timelines and studies of substantial size—two completed studies of 830 and 840 subjects (≈32,000 and ≈28,000 pages) and an ongoing study of 2,400 subjects (≈90,000 pages)—Ancillarie needed a user-friendly solution that would let data managers of varying experience build and manage databases quickly without outsourcing programming.

Medrio’s EDC, combined with its training resources, dictionary integration, Data Analysis function, and configuration privileges, enabled Ancillarie’s team to build three large studies in weeks rather than months—an experienced manager completed a database in about four weeks and a junior manager ramped up after the training.
