Zijerveld optimizes quality and efficiency with Medius AP Automation

Zijerveld, a leading player in the Dutch and European cheese market, faced a largely manual accounts payable (AP) process that handled about 55,000 incoming invoices a year (roughly 40,000 vendor invoices). Paper-based workflows, manual coding and limited visibility made oversight, price control and month‑end reporting slow and error‑prone. To modernize and integrate AP with its Infor M3 ERP, Zijerveld chose Medius and its AP Automation solution.

Medius deployed Medius AP Automation with the Medius Connect Infor M3 connector to capture, extract and match invoice data automatically, using AI/ML to drive higher touchless processing (55% at the time of writing) and to archive originals for easy retrieval. The implementation eliminated paper invoices, enabled mobile approvals for nearly 100 employees, sped up invoice handling and helped Zijerveld complete monthly accounts by the end of the next business day—improving control, efficiency and supplier responsiveness.
