R.M.Williams, the iconic leather goods and retail company operating 70+ stores and a global ecommerce business, faced a paper-heavy accounts payable process in Salisbury, Australia—manual scanning, filing, searching and constant back-and-forth approval emails were slowing the team. To modernize AP, R.M.Williams chose Medius and its Medius AP Automation solution to digitize and streamline invoice processing.

Medius integrated Medius AP Automation with R.M.Williams’ Infor M3 ERP and used AI/ML/OCR, automated coding and three-way PO matching to capture, route and approve invoices electronically. The implementation eliminated lengthy email chains, improved visibility and cash-flow reporting, and enabled self-service invoice lookup—results include processing more than 20,000 invoices per year and a 0.5 FTE reduction in AP, freeing staff to focus on analysis and efficiency improvements.
