How Thorlux transformed accounts payable with Medius

Thorlux Lighting, a UK-based manufacturer of luminaires and lighting control systems, was processing around 15,000 invoices a year across two entities on the M3 ERP system. Its accounts payable team was heavily burdened by manual invoice scanning, data entry, and approval chasing, creating a bottleneck with limited visibility. To address this, Thorlux turned to Medius Accounts Payable Automation.

With Medius, Thorlux automated both PO and non-PO invoice handling, including touchless routing, AI-driven coding, and improved visibility into invoice status and bottlenecks. The results included at least one FTE redeployed to higher-value work, significantly faster processing, elimination of manual keying for most transactions, and better team engagement. Thorlux also reported that 57% of PO invoices and 61% of non-PO invoices now auto-route, and it is expanding its use of Medius into procurement and analytics.
