How Marshalls PLC went from paper-heavy AP to paperless, streamlined automation with Medius

Marshalls PLC, one of the UK’s leading manufacturers for the built environment, was managing 125,000–175,000 invoices a year across multiple entities in Microsoft Dynamics D365. Its accounts payable team faced a paper-heavy, manual process, with around 60% of invoices arriving by email or post and much of the team’s time spent on inbox management and manual data entry. This created errors, limited productivity, and made it difficult to focus on higher-value AP work.

To modernize operations, Marshalls implemented Medius Accounts Payable Automation, rolling it out site by site after a pilot in late 2022.
