Global Roll Out of Automated Invoice Processing at Elekta

Elekta, a global medical technology company, faced a growing accounts payable burden—moving from manual processing of 50,000 supplier invoices to a much larger volume while improving internal control, process quality and digital access. To address this, Elekta selected Medius and its MediusFlow invoice automation solution, integrating it with their Infor M3 ERP and launching a Shared Services Center in Crawley, UK.

Medius implemented MediusFlow with OCR, line‑level PO matching and workflow approvals (including mobile approval), enabling a standardized, digital purchase-to-pay process. The result: Elekta increased processed invoices from 50,000 to 120,000 annually with no additional staff, deployed MediusFlow across 22 Elekta companies (2,300 users) in 17 countries, reduced costs, improved control and provided 24/7 digital access to invoices.
