Credit Agricole, a leading French banking group with 39 regional networks and roughly 75,000 employees, faced an outdated, paper-heavy expense system (HR‑Access) that was slow, cumbersome and inconsistent across entities. The group sought a user‑friendly, multichannel, configurable, and secure expense management solution and selected Medius to modernize and harmonize its expense reporting process.

Medius delivered a SaaS web and mobile expense management solution configured for each regional network, digitizing receipt capture and archiving, automating validation and accounting flows, and adapting mileage calculations to local rules. Rolled out across all 39 regional networks, the Medius implementation produced clear gains: faster expense entry and accounting, full dematerialization and better data traceability, tighter control of mileage (which represents nearly 60% of the group’s expenses), reduced processing times and elimination of physical archives.
