Bolletje, the Dutch bakery company, needed to modernize its accounts payable after migrating to Microsoft Dynamics AX—its legacy AP system struggled with PO matching, poor invoice data capture and limited flexibility. To support about 20,000 annual invoices and a lean finance team, Bolletje selected Medius Accounts Payable Automation to provide a cloud-ready, self-learning AP platform that integrates with Dynamics AX.

Medius implemented a solution that captures PDF invoices, matches supplier, amount and order numbers to Dynamics AX, and routes approvals via configurable workflows. The system went live in roughly three months with about 30 users, delivering an 86% touchless rate for PO invoices, faster turnaround, stronger KPI reporting and an expected return on investment within two years—demonstrating clear operational gains from Medius’ AP Automation.
