Cumberland Family Medical, a Kentucky-based Federally Qualified Health Center serving uninsured and underinsured patients, faced mounting strain from managing growing patient data and producing accurate Uniform Data System (UDS) reports with a small staff. To streamline patient data management and meet state and federal UDS mandates, the health center engaged Meditab Software for an integrated EHR solution (IMS EHR) and enhanced UDS reporting capabilities.

Meditab Software partnered with Cumberland Family Medical through collaborative design, consolidated the center’s data into a single database, and developed a web-based UDS Reporting Portal that operates alongside the IMS EHR. The solution enabled compliant UDS submissions and rapid data extraction without affecting real-time EHR access; Cumberland now supports ~90,000 encounters per month across 200+ clinics with a lean IT team of eight specialists, and the partnership has expanded to build OB, counseling, and dental modules.
