Northeast Georgia Health System A/R Insurance Resolution Exceeds Collection Expectations

Northeast Georgia Health System, a not-for-profit community health system serving about 800,000 people across 13 counties in northeast Georgia, needed to rapidly reduce receivables in its legacy health information system after a new system launch in early 2014. To support its revenue cycle goals and staffing efficiency, the health system turned to MediRevv for A/R insurance resolution and rundown of the old system.

MediRevv provided full visibility into its work efforts and processes, with close communication and support from NGHS leadership and insurance teams. Over 16 months, MediRevv resolved 91.6% of the placed A/R, equal to $24.4 million of $26.6 million, and collected $8.3 million across five placements, exceeding expectations and driving strong results for Northeast Georgia Health System.
