PHASTAR is a specialist biometrics CRO that provides statistical consulting, clinical trial reporting, data management and data science services worldwide. Partnering with Medidata since 2019, PHASTAR was asked mid-study to take over data management from another supplier and urgently migrate an active trial’s data—including documentation, audit trails and queries—while recruitment was ongoing and participants had already passed key visits.

PHASTAR and Medidata combined platform expertise (Rave EDC, eCOA/ePRO) and technical resources to batch-upload, validate and test the migration, paused site entry for a live cutover and executed the transfer smoothly. The migration moved 10,603 data points across 76 eCRFs for six subjects and finished in 13 days (ahead of the 14.5‑day plan), allowing the study to continue on track; the Sponsor has since engaged PHASTAR for additional studies and benefited from reusable Rave forms and execution efficiencies.
