MedHub Keeps University of Alabama Graduate Medical Education Programs on the Same Page

The University of Alabama at Birmingham’s Graduate Medical Education office was managing 980 residents and fellows across 91 programs with paper-based, manual processes. The team needed a better way to coordinate schedules, evaluations, reporting, and data sharing across multiple affiliated institutions, while reducing errors and administrative burden.

MedHub implemented its healthcare education management platform to centralize information, eliminate manual data entry, and provide real-time transparency across programs. The results included faster reporting, more accurate ACGME reporting, significant paper savings, and a streamlined rollout to nearly 100 programs; in 2015, MedHub supported 66,610 evaluations delivered, and the university is now expanding use into onboarding and billing/finance processes.
