Savsu Technologies, a medical technology design company specializing in temperature-controlled "Cold Chain" packaging, needed a rapid prototyping solution for its custom smart packaging systems. To accelerate production, they turned to MecSoft Corporation's RhinoCAM and IRBCAM software to program their 6-axis ABB robot.

The solution from MecSoft involved using RhinoCAM to create complex 2.5 and 3-axis toolpaths directly from 3D CAD models. IRBCAM then translated this data into code for their robot. This integration allowed Savsu engineers to go from a digital design review to holding a physical, thermoformed prototype in just a couple of hours, dramatically speeding up their response to customer needs.
