The client's challenge was that their data platform administration was manual, error-prone, and time-consuming. They required a secure, scalable, self-service solution, which included implementing SCIM integration with Azure AD for single sign-on and creating new automation products to form the foundation of a General Data Mesh.

Mechanical Rock delivered the solution by first integrating Snowflake with Azure AD for enhanced security and streamlined access control. They then created a suite of automation capabilities, including infrastructure provisioning with Terraform, streamlined code management, and data delivery templates. This reduced manual administrative tasks significantly; for example, one process was streamlined from 12 manual actions down to just 1, minimizing effort and empowering business self-service.
