Bamboo, a Perth-based micro-investment company, required a robust and scalable data platform to support its reporting and analytical needs as it prepared for global expansion. Their challenge was to build a reliable data warehouse on Snowflake with secure, automated data pipelines and minimal management overhead. They turned to vendor Mechanical Rock to implement a solution based on the modern Extract-Load-Transform (ELT) pattern.

Mechanical Rock designed and built a secure, automated data pipeline using AWS services, Snowflake, and dbt (data build tool). The solution integrated single sign-on, automated data ingestion from DynamoDB to Snowflake, and introduced CI/CD for data transformations. This provided Bamboo with a simple, serverless, and scalable DataOps platform that is cost-effective to run and paves the way for future advanced analytics tools.
