Latisys, a colocation and infrastructure-as-a-service provider in Ashburn, VA, needed a new security and surveillance system for a new construction build-out in Northern Virginia. MCW Solutions was brought in to support the project with updated access control for doors and cages.

MCW Solutions provided and installed a security management system that included hand geometry readers, three proximity card readers, and associated electric locking hardware. The solution also featured a custom fail-safe electronic sliding gate lock controlled by the hand geometry readers and connected to a control panel with open reader ports, helping Latisys strengthen facility security and access control.
