Spectrum Health, one of the largest not-for-profit healthcare systems in the Midwest, needed a better way to manage PC lifecycle operations as it handled mergers, acquisitions, annual technology refreshes, and growing support demands across its Michigan locations. To improve service levels, reduce desk-side work, and create more consistent governance and deployment processes, Spectrum Health turned to MCPc for help with PC lifecycle management and related support services.

MCPc responded by becoming an extension of Spectrum Health’s IT team, consolidating PC integration work, building an on-demand order management system with procurement and release portals, and supporting device refresh, desk-side deployment, and Tier II support from its Grand Rapids logistics center. The results included a 75% reduction in PC deployment time, from 2 hours to under 30 minutes, support for an annual refresh of 4,500 devices in 3–4 months, and higher end-user satisfaction through faster, more consistent service.
