A MCPc Case Study
Davenport University, a private nonprofit university with campuses throughout Michigan and online programs, partnered with MCPc to address challenges managing multiple lease schedules for endpoint devices. The university needed better logistical control to avoid missed return deadlines, damaged-device penalties, delayed end-of-lease returns, and the extra payments that came with them, all while dealing with staffing shortages and pressure to improve lease management.
MCPc implemented an integrated endpoint client computing lifecycle management solution to improve supply chain visibility and control across procurement, refresh, and retirement. MCPc picked up devices due for refresh, performed end-of-life services at its Grand Rapids logistics center, and delivered the devices to the leasing company on time, helping Davenport refresh devices with minimal disruption and reduce delayed lease payments. Regular quarterly business reviews and actionable metrics further improved accountability and service continuity across campus and remote locations.
