Cleveland Metropolitan School District deploys 40,000 student laptops in 5 days with MCPc

The Cleveland Metropolitan School District, the third largest public school system in Ohio, faced an immense challenge when supply chain issues delayed the delivery of 40,000 student laptops until just five days before the new school year began. With an urgent need to transition to remote learning, the district partnered with vendor MCPc to configure and deploy all of the devices on an extremely tight deadline.

MCPc worked around the clock to achieve this, providing warehousing, imaging, configuration, and deployment services for the laptops. The vendor also deployed a service desk team to assist students and implemented new inventory and supply chain management systems. As a result, MCPc successfully deployed the laptops in time, ensuring close to 40,000 students were able to begin the school year with the necessary technology and establishing an efficient foundation for the district's future device forecasting and distribution.
