Aspire Defence deliver project Allenby / Connaught for the MoD at Aldershot garrisons

Aspire Defence is delivering Project Allenby/Connaught for the MoD to provide modern living and working environments across Aldershot and Salisbury Plain, including 11,000 en-suite bedrooms and refurbishment of 535 assets over a multi‑year programme. Faced with huge volumes of technical documentation (50,000+ drawings), dispersed teams and contractors, an eight‑layer approval process and slow LAN/email workflows, Aspire needed a scalable system to standardise document control, speed communications and reduce cost and delays.

Aspire implemented McLaren Software (formerly CTSpace) to centralise storage, version control and sharing across the supply chain. The solution automated uploads and approvals, improved visibility and auditability, reduced errors, courier costs and delays, and enabled wider rollout and collaborative working across sites—putting up‑to‑date documents in the hands of designers, subcontractors and approvers regardless of location.
