Denver Public Schools (DPS) faced the challenge of providing a safe, healthy learning environment for its community with finite resources and growing pressure to act. To stretch their capital dollars further, DPS turned to vendor McKinstry for an energy savings performance contract (ESPC).

McKinstry implemented a comprehensive ESPC that upgraded critical systems and added 5MW of solar power across 27 schools. The solution delivered guaranteed energy efficiency and operational cost savings for the 3.8 million square foot portfolio, allowing DPS to achieve more than was previously thought possible.
