The City of West Allis needed to move away from emergency repairs and proactively plan for the long-term management of its capital assets. To address this challenge, they partnered with McKinstry for a comprehensive Facility Condition Assessment (FCA).

McKinstry evaluated 25 city buildings and delivered a detailed 30-year capital investment strategy. The strategy has already been used to inform a major public works facilities replacement project. McKinstry's subsequent business case analysis provided a path forward projected to save the city millions of dollars over the building's life and enable best-in-class service delivery for residents.
