MCGlobal Solutions implemented a solution for one of Australia's largest natural gas producers. The customer faced a significant challenge with manually entering odometer data from their MiX Telematics system into their CMMS, a time-consuming and error-prone process for their 500-vehicle fleet. A further complexity was fostering collaboration between their separate vehicle and gas-producing departments.

The solution developed by MCGlobal Solutions automated the transfer of odometer readings using a custom integration. This involved MiX Telematics reports, AWS services, and the CMMS API to update meter readings and generate KM-based service schedules automatically. The results for the customer included eliminating manual data entry, freeing up labour resources for maintenance, and achieving fewer unplanned breakdowns and reduced missed services.
