Cologne Bonn Airport, one of Germany’s largest commercial airports, needed a better way to manage IT security and compliance across a heterogeneous environment with multiple management consoles. To improve visibility, control, and the aggregation of security data, the airport turned to McAfee and its SIEM-related products, including McAfee Enterprise Security Manager, McAfee Enterprise Log Manager, and McAfee Advanced Correlation Engine, supported by McAfee Professional Services.

McAfee implemented a centralized security information and event management solution integrated with McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator to normalize data, correlate events, and enable risk-based prioritization and automated alerts. As a result, Cologne Bonn Airport gained stronger incident response and forensic capabilities, improved auditing and compliance reporting, and more targeted handling of threats and faults, while reducing manual effort and improving transparency across its IT landscape.
