SF Police Credit Union Passes Audits Easily with Comprehensive Security Management

SF Police Credit Union (SFPCU), a San Francisco-based credit union serving first responders, needed a better way to meet GLBA and NCUA Part 748 compliance requirements without adding headcount. With about 350 network devices across five branches, the organization turned to McAfee, using McAfee Enterprise Security Manager along with McAfee Endpoint Protection and McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator to improve security visibility and audit readiness.

McAfee, implemented and managed by partner Dataway, deployed a SIEM solution that consolidates and correlates roughly 1,000 security events per second, with real-time baselining, alerting, and reporting. The result was faster, easier compliance audits, automated and on-demand reporting, quicker troubleshooting and remediation, and comprehensive security management without increasing staff.
