Catholic Education South Australia, the second-largest education provider in South Australia, needed a way to secure roughly 20,000 endpoints across 94 dispersed sites while staying within tight education budgets. With many schools using separate management consoles, the IT team lacked clear visibility and needed a simpler, more consistent approach to endpoint protection. McAfee helped address this with McAfee Complete Endpoint Threat Protection, McAfee Endpoint Security, and McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (McAfee ePO).

McAfee centralized management and improved protection across the entire school system, giving CESA comprehensive visibility, easier administration for site IT teams, and stronger security posture. The rollout enabled broader adoption, reduced complexity, and helped block ransomware and phishing-based attacks before they could execute, including stopping 32 phishing campaigns over nine months. As a result, CESA said it had more visibility, more coverage, and more customer confidence than in 12 years.
