McAfee Endpoint Security provides a simplified and scalable security framework

Telefónica México, a leading telecommunications company with about 6,000 Microsoft Windows endpoints, needed to modernize and simplify endpoint protection while defending against advanced threats such as ransomware, including WannaCry. The company also wanted to minimize performance impact, improve visibility into malicious activity, and reduce the operational burden of managing security across its environment. McAfee provided the endpoint security technology and support.

McAfee deployed McAfee Endpoint Security, along with McAfee Complete Endpoint Threat Protection, McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO), and Platinum Support, using a unified single-agent architecture with modules for Threat Prevention, Web Control, and Firewall. The result was stronger ransomware protection, better threat visibility, and easier scaling and management, while CPU utilization improved by nearly 89% versus the previous McAfee endpoint solutions. McAfee also helped eliminate scan-time complaints and reduced technical support calls to zero, improving productivity and operational efficiency.
