Federal Court System in Chile Benefits from Automation and Stronger Protection

Poder Judicial, Chile’s federal court system, needed to strengthen endpoint protection across about 6,550 Windows devices while reducing the manual effort required to detect and stop ransomware and other threats. Working with McAfee, the organization sought better visibility into its security posture, simpler management, and faster response after a WannaCry incident exposed the need for more automated defenses.

McAfee upgraded Poder Judicial to McAfee ePolicy Orchestrator (ePO) 5.9 and McAfee Endpoint Security 10.5, enabling automated threat detection and prevention with features such as advanced threat defense, web control, firewall, and DXL. The result was centralized management, improved visibility, fewer manual processes, and a smoother user experience, with McAfee Endpoint Security blocking or eliminating 232,000 threats and helping the IT team migrate protection to all 6,550 endpoints in less than a week.
