Redesigning a new way of exploring job vacancies in NOWJOBS

NOWJOBS, a two-sided marketplace connecting companies and side earners for temporary jobs, was seeing a decline in application rates as its platform grew. To improve satisfaction for both candidates and businesses, the team worked with Maze and used prototype testing alongside user interviews, surveys, and product analytics to understand how people were browsing and applying for vacancies.

Maze helped validate a redesigned vacancy-exploration experience before development, including a calendar-style view and a condensed list of jobs to surface more relevant opportunities. The Maze test showed direct success rates ranging from 73% to 100%, confirming the core concept and guiding a few UI iterations before final development, resulting in a more user-friendly app design and better job matching.
