Case Study: GE achieves rapid, scalable UX testing with Maze

A Maze Case Study

How GE scaled UX through rapid testing with Maze

GE, a global organization of 205,000 employees, needed to scale UX across its Core Tech and Cyber Security teams to improve usability of enterprise IT and employee platforms. The team lacked a repeatable user-testing process and tangible data to convince stakeholders, so they adopted Maze to build a user-testing mindset and integrate testing into their design workflow.

Using Maze (with InVision integration) the team ran rapid prototype and concept tests—leveraging Card Sorting, Missions and Maze Reports (heatmaps, click paths)—so designers could test autonomously and get quick, hard data. Maze helped GE identify usability issues (for example, feature findability and ticket history), achieve broad designer adoption, launch a few products this year with greater confidence, and secure stakeholder buy-in, positioning the company to improve downstream metrics like NPS.
