Arista Networks, a leader in high-performance, low-latency cloud networking, needed dependable persistent storage for numerous stateful CI/CD and internal applications running on Kubernetes. To address this, Arista adopted MayaData’s OpenEBS to provide container-native storage that meets their requirements for functionality and a small operational footprint.

MayaData implemented OpenEBS using a mix of cStor for feature-rich storage and Jiva for minimalistic environments, enabling Arista to run multiple stateful workloads—Gerrit, NPM, Maven, Redis, SonarQube and other internal tools—reliably on Kubernetes. The solution let Arista consolidate CI/CD pipelines and support diverse stateful services with improved operational flexibility and reduced infrastructure footprint.
