PROSOCO Deploys Maxta as Storage Solution for their Primary Data Center

PROSOCO, a national manufacturer founded in 1939, was struggling with an unstable Hyper‑V/iSCSI SAN that intermittently went offline and could take hours to reboot, disrupting operations for its 80 users. Seeking a hyper‑converged, easy‑to‑manage solution, PROSOCO selected Maxta and its MxSP software to replace the legacy SAN and simplify storage management.

Maxta deployed MxSP on Dell R730 XD nodes, providing about 37 TB of server‑side storage as a single pooled system. The Maxta solution eliminated downtime during maintenance and upgrades, stopped the intermittent SAN crashes, reduced IT management time, and gave PROSOCO the reliability to focus on growth—so much so that the team plans to replicate the Maxta environment for a second office.
