Case Study: Blue Ridge achieves a four-day close and zero burnout with Maxio

A Maxio Case Study

Preview of the Blue Ridge Case Study

Blue Ridge migrates from QBO to NetSuite in seven weeks, thanks to Maxio

Blue Ridge Solutions, a SaaS company serving distributors with supply chain software, needed to replace disconnected financial systems that created duplicate work, limited consolidation, and slowed reporting. After joining as VP of Finance, Charles Dye saw that Blue Ridge’s existing Maxio setup was only handling standalone revenue recognition, while QuickBooks, Salesforce, and Avalara ran in silos and made it hard to scale efficiently.

Blue Ridge implemented Maxio with NetSuite, along with integrations to Salesforce, Avalara, Rippling, and Airbase, to automate invoicing, revenue recognition, reporting, and data flow across systems. The result was a finance function that closed the books in four to five days, delivered board-ready reporting by day five and revenue previews by day two, and avoided the need to hire 2–3 additional finance staff—while also eliminating burnout on the team.
