SAIT Polytechnic’s Corporate Training Solutions (CTS) needed a more advanced, cost‑effective way to manage sales opportunities and client information as the business grew. The department’s previous information‑management system could not track opportunities through the sales cycle or provide the reporting and usability required by the sales team, prompting a search for a scalable CRM that met CTS needs without overshooting the budget.
SAIT selected and implemented Maximizer CRM in 2010, customizing it (including phone-system integration) to capture calls, emails and multi-stage opportunities and to build useful reports. Use expanded from 15 initial users to 105 across the institution, managing nearly 20,000 company records; the CRM improved forecasting, budgeting, transparency, collaboration and decision‑making, and SAIT cites strong ongoing support from the Maximizer team.
