Avance Carpets, a flooring specialist launched in 2011 with over 50 years of industry heritage, expanded into the commercial market and found its customer data trapped in individual Excel files. With no central database, sales history and activity logs were inconsistent or lost as staff changed, and the business struggled to manage a growing mix of architects, contractors, suppliers and B2B/B2C customers.

The company implemented Maximizer CRM (hosted by partner Camsoft) at the start of the 2013 financial year, using its customer service module, central diary/appointments and mobile access to unify records with minimal training and no customisation. The result was faster query handling, automated reporting, time savings and a more than doubling of efficiency—delivering clearer visibility across contacts and a measurable improvement to the bottom line.
