Mavro Technology Leapfrogs the Limitations of PSE&G’s Legacy Payment Processing System

PSE&G, one of the largest electric and gas utilities in the U.S., needed to replace a legacy payment processing system that was limiting efficiency, making changes costly and time consuming, and creating security and exception-processing challenges. The company turned to Mavro Imaging and its MavBridge software to support mail payment processing across its main center and 24 remote locations.

Mavro Imaging implemented a flexible end-to-end, image-based system using MavBridge software integrated with existing scanners, secure remote scanning, and archive tools. The new workflow reduced rejects by over 75%, significantly cut items requiring review, improved security with encryption and access controls, eliminated a room full of PCs, and gave PSE&G a more efficient, reliable operation with faster returns on investment.
