Arbor Day Foundation, a nonprofit conservation and education organization, needed a better way to handle a highly complex donation processing operation with multiple payment types, about 45 program types, and daily mail volumes that could spike from a few thousand pieces to 100,000. Its manual system for extracting, sorting, and entering donor and payment information could no longer keep up, so it turned to Mavro Imaging for help.

Mavro Imaging implemented a flexible automated solution using three OPEX AS7200i scanners, MavBridge software, and its virtual batching technology to categorize transactions, extract data, and route payments without pre-sorting. The new system reduced total processing steps by 60% and manual handling by 90%, cut temporary staffing needs, improved operator satisfaction, enabled end-of-day Check 21 file creation, and gave Arbor Day Foundation real-time tracking, better reporting, and stronger compliance support.
