Mavro Makes the Manatee County Tax Collector’s Vision of a One-Touch System a Reality

The Manatee County Florida Tax Collector Office needed to replace a legacy remittance system running on soon-to-be-sunset Windows XP and eliminate manual steps in processing property tax payments, utility payments, and motor vehicle registration renewals. After struggling to upgrade the old system, the office turned to Mavro Imaging and its MavBridge software to support a more streamlined, one-touch processing environment.

Mavro Imaging designed a fully image-based solution using Opex AS7200i and Opex FalconRED extractor/scanners with Mavro software modules, including Interactive OCR and automated renewal workflow integration. The new system was implemented on schedule and within budget, reduced hand-processed motor vehicle transactions to under 4% and property tax hand-processing to less than 0.1%, and delivered significant labor savings with smoother processing and ongoing upgrade support.
