In Touch Ministries worked with Mavro Imaging to address a growing mail processing workload that their legacy system could not handle efficiently. Their team had to manually open, read, and code many documents because handwritten notes and comments could not be viewed easily, causing mail batches to take three to four days to process and delaying deposits and responses.

Mavro Imaging implemented a tailored image-based remittance and document processing solution with One-Touch processing, Smart Batching, Connect archive access, and new Opex scanning hardware. The result was the ability to process the majority of mail the same day, handle about 90,000 transactions per month with peaks of 8,000 per day, cut maintenance costs by almost 50%, and reduce end-of-year volunteer support from 15 people to one.
