Stratstone BYD launches Mayfair flagship with The Maverick Group, drawing 80 VIPs and media

The Maverick Group was engaged by Stratstone BYD to launch BYD's flagship UK store in Mayfair. The challenge was to establish this new location, which was more associated with premium luxury and supercar brands, for a Chinese electric vehicle challenger brand.

The Maverick Group executed an exclusive media showcase and private party, featuring the first UK look at the BYD Seal. They creatively demonstrated the BYD Blade Battery's capabilities by using it to power a DJ setup for a surprise set by Pete Tong MBE. The vendor's strategy resulted in a media partnership with MyLondon and attracted 80 media and VIP attendees to the event.
