Imagine Communications Group runs 45,000 subscribers on Mavenir’s 4G/5G core

Mavenir worked with Imagine Communications Group, an innovator in the Irish telecom market also referred to as Imagine Networks. The customer's challenge was to migrate its existing 4G fixed wireless access subscribers onto a next-generation core network, introduce new 5G services, maintain its market leadership, and reduce operating costs.

Mavenir implemented its Converged Packet Core solution, which is a fully containerized 4G/5G combo core running on its Webscale Platform. This solution included providing the hardware infrastructure and management systems. The results for the customer included successfully migrating 45,000 subscribers, with the network carrying over 100 Gbps of live traffic and engineered for 200 Gbps capacity. Mavenir's solution provided a flexible, scalable path to 5G with improved speed, security, and reliability.
