Deutsche Telekom accelerates 5G rollout with Mavenir’s cloud-native CaaS platform

Deutsche Telekom was challenged with managing thousands of Kubernetes clusters across multiple locations, which was straining its small team of engineers and slowing its 5G rollout. The company needed to automate cluster management for greater efficiency and to accelerate its 5G service deployment.

Mavenir, in collaboration with Weaveworks, designed and implemented an industry-first cloud-native Container-as-a-Service (CaaS) platform for Deutsche Telekom. This solution allowed the telco to accelerate deployment frequency, reduce the potential for human error, and fast-track the rollout of its 5G services through a fully automated and GitOps-enabled platform.
