Bolt, the European super-app with more than 100 million customers, wanted a simple way to improve employee recognition as the company grew quickly across multiple teams and regions. Bolt chose Matter, using its Kudos and Feedback Friday features to give employees an easy, dedicated channel for sharing positive feedback and celebrating coworkers.
Matter was rolled out first to internal teams and then introduced at an all-hands meeting, with the #kudos channel available for employees to join voluntarily. The setup was described as extremely easy and intuitive, the channel became popular within the first month and especially the first two weeks, and Feedback Friday reminders helped drive participation; Bolt also saw strong value from tailoring Kudos to team values and internal culture.
