Wesley Homes, a Seattle-based continuing care retirement organization, needed a more user-friendly, compliance-driven point-of-care documentation platform for its home health and private-duty caregivers. Facing paper-based records, bulky laptop workflows, regulatory pressures and low clinician morale, the Home Health Group led by Melinda Moore sought a solution and selected MatrixCare’s Home Health point-of-care solution (iPad app) to meet offline, secure, and mobile documentation needs.
MatrixCare implemented an iPad-based, offline-capable documentation app that lets clinicians sync records, document at the point of care, and streamline billing access. As a result, Wesley Homes reported a 71% reduction in documentation processing time, a 56% cut in days to RAP, a 50% drop (about three weeks) in time to final claims, virtually eliminated Medicare denials, rapid staff adoption (99%), and a 50% increase in Medicare home health patients (100 to 150) alongside growth from 300 to 450 total monthly patients—demonstrating measurable operational and care improvements thanks to MatrixCare.
