Solace Pediatric Home Healthcare struggled with largely manual workflows after an earlier EHR rollout failed: clinicians used bulky laptops and templated Microsoft Word documents, patient files were assembled manually, and a single oversized Excel tracker crashed frequently. MatrixCare implemented an integrated platform that allowed Solace to convert adult evaluations into pediatric templates, centralize clinical documentation and revenue-cycle workflows, and add features like an eFax workflow and an iPad app. After just over a year—and growth from 15 to 60 clinicians—Solace saw ACH accreditation deficiencies fall from 20 to 12; later, with more than 150 clinicians and 2,200 patients, deficiencies dropped to 11.
