Hill Top Home of Comfort, a 50‑bed skilled nursing facility in Killdeer, ND, faced redundancies in workflow, a cumbersome billing process, and the need for a modern web‑based system. Seeking to free staff from paperwork and improve reimbursement accuracy, Hill Top replaced its legacy On‑Line Advantage system with MatrixCare’s integrated web‑based clinical EHR and financial software, including eMAR and Point of Care.
MatrixCare implemented its fully integrated clinical and financial package (AR, Collections, Point of Care, Charge Calculator and retro‑billing) with hands‑on support and onsite training from an Implementation Project Manager. As a result, Hill Top saw reduced process redundancies, more accurate documentation and billing (eliminating routine Excel manipulations), improved med‑pass efficiency and real‑time clinical records, stronger AR and collections reporting, and time savings that allowed staff to spend more time on resident care.
