FAYAT, a leading French construction and industrial group with about 19,100 employees across 160 subsidiaries, faced a complex, heterogeneous PC infrastructure managed in silos and lacking a unified workplace management platform. After a six‑month audit of candidate tools, the Group selected the Matrix42 solution to replace limited, departmental tooling and to centralize management of thousands of endpoints across its global subsidiaries.

Matrix42 delivered a full workplace management suite—end‑to‑end OS and application deployment, updates and patching, SAM and license management, ITSM, a service catalog, self‑service portals and automated onboarding—which was rolled out across the Group. The implementation centralized administration for hundreds to thousands of workplaces (building on Bomag’s prior 2,000‑workplace deployment), improved agility for deployments and security updates, ensured license conformity and simplified audits, and automated routine processes such as new‑hire provisioning with Matrix42.
