Springs Valley Bank & Trust Company, a Jasper, Indiana-based community bank with four banking centers, wanted to modernize its technology to better serve customers while preserving the personal service that set it apart. To stay competitive with larger banks, it needed to replace outdated servers, improve disaster recovery, upgrade its phone system, and streamline internal workflows. Springs Valley Bank & Trust partnered with Matrix Integration to address these challenges.

Matrix Integration implemented data center virtualization with HPE servers, storage, networking, and VMware, added a disaster recovery and active colocation facility in French Lick, converted the bank to a Mitel IP telecommunications system, and deployed VMware Virtual Desktop Infrastructure. The result was stronger disaster recovery and data security, lower IT overhead without adding staff, more reliable systems for customer-facing employees, and greater staff efficiency with less travel between locations.
