North-West University integrates 8 API streams with Matogen

North-West University needed a system to manage the complex practical work placements required for its students across various faculties. Matogen was contracted to develop the Work Integrated and Service-learning Management System (WISL), a cloud-based platform to automate and streamline this process.

The solution implemented by Matogen automated student placement and tracking, integrated data from eight existing university APIs, and provided mobile access for mentors and assessors. The system's configurable design catered to the unique operational needs of different faculties, effectively managing capacity and scheduling with service providers.
